Fun With Photoshop

This page was inspired by the goofing off I did for my profile picture. I thought that it would be a fun page to do, and I had a blast making this crazy repetitive (but not so) page! Hope you enjoy it! Describing some of the pictures. The original is the one with the ribbons. Seeing what I'd look like with red hair is the tilted picture. My favorite is the blown up picture. Me as those weird people with pink hair that were on this last season of Amazing Race is the bottom middle. :P Those are the ones that stand out to me. The rest are just random!

This picture was next in line for me to scrap. I had this amazing vision for it. I knew that this would be the basis of the page, and as soon as I put the frame around the picture, I was in love. I just couldn't bare to put anything with it. I did try a few things just to make sure, but I thought that it was too cute without it. I know that it's simple, but I love it anyways! I love this picture of me! (And I can't believe that I took it myself!)

I Love These Kids

I have wanted to scrap this picture for ages, and so I finally just scrapped it. I didn't try to have a theme, I just went with the flow! I'm pretty happy with it! What do you think?

So this is based on that page!)

Unreliable

This page needed to be made! Ever since my first day of job hunting since I moved to the city, this bus has been, well, unreliable. I'll tell the whole story, which couldn't fit on one page. My first day, I waited for this bus for an hour. It's supposed to come every half an hour. It didn't come at all. I ended up walking about 4-6 miles that day. My feet almost died. A couple days later, I was at the mall, found the bus schedule, and waited at the stop. I knew that I would wait there all day if I had to, because I wasn't walking home again. About twenty minutes after the time on the schedule, the bus shows up. I get on. There is absolutely no one on the bus besides me and the driver. He drives about two seconds, pulls into the mall parking lot and stops the bus. He opens the door, and gets off the bus without one word to his only passenger. I figure that he had to go to the bathroom. I sat there for another twenty minutes. Luckily I had my camera in my purse, I couldn't help but to take pictures of myself in my current situation. So, to be optimistic, at least a cute scrapbook page came from this experience! I hope you all find my page cute, I quite like it!

Sittin' Pretty

Megan is soo adorable! My dad just got this amazing new camera. I am in love with it. But what's more fun, is that Megan is my willing subject. She is always begging me to take her picture, and what is even more fun, is that she let's me pose her. :) She's so sweet! I love these pictures, they are so absolutely precious! I love that little girl!

Dying Easter Eggs

This was a fun page. I find it quite funny that the pages with more pictures take a substantial less amount of time than the ones I do with only one picture. Ha ha. I quite like the out come though. (I have decided that I kind of like one page spreads, so if you see a few over the next couple posts, that's why! ) :)

A Simple Kiss

I just got in the mood to do some scrapbooking. This page took me FOREVER to do. Surprising, since it's one picture on one page. It took me 9 hours to complete. Crazy huh. I love the final product though, and so I'm okay with how long it took me! :)

Braceless!

My braces came off today. I used the help of the mirror to take pictures of myself. I couldn't help but make a page. Its about time. This blog was getting quite neglected! Ha ha! I am in love with my new teeth. I've been smiling like a lunatic all day long. I think most people I encountered think I should be committed! Goodness! Look at those teeth. In closing..."SHING! SPARKLE SPARKLE!" :)

52 Scrapbooking Challenges

Sorry about not posting for a while. You may think I've given up on digital scrapbooking, but that's definitely not true. I'm just taking a break to try out some new stuff for regular, old scrapping.
A few weeks ago, I was able to go to Salt Lake and spend the week with Alyson. It was so much fun! At the end of my stay, we headed down to Provo to meet up with my sister, brother-in-law, and niece and nephew who were going to give me a ride home. We stopped at the new Archiver's scrapbook memory store. It was awesome. It wasn't quite as impressive as the one in Denver, but it was still very cool! I saw a book there that I had been wanting to buy, and since it was at the end of the weekend, and I had just enough money, I grabbed it! I LOVE it! I am having so much fun scrapping challenges from this book.
I am trying to find a way to get my non-digital pages online so you can all see them, so be patient. That's why I'm not posting! I'll be back soon with digital. You can count on it!

The Party Planner

I am in love with this little girl! Look at her looking all grown up, her legs are crossed, she's holding the pen the right way, but then you notice that she has food stuff's all over her face! Ha ha! This page was fun to make, but it challenged me in a few places. There was only one corner, so I flipped it and realized that the stripes wouldn't be going in the same direction. I had to make the other corners so that the stripes would run vertically. Can you tell which ones are the ones I made? Good, you aren't supposed to! :)

Easter Eggs

I saw this idea on the Creating Memories website. I was so glad that I could figure out how to keep some color. Adobe Photoshop is the most amazing program ever! If you love scrapbooking, I seriously suggest that you get this program and go digital. It opens up so many possibitlies!

Fall

These kids are the most adorable ever! I just can't get enough of them. I love doing pages of these two because I can't help smiling whenever I look at the pictures. CUTE!

Snow Angels

Here are the pictures I talked about in the post prior. It was so much fun taking these pictures. It was below zero for most of the day and it was freezing. My mom took picutres for me, and you can read some of her thoughts in a comment on Life's a Picutre by Framed. It is Booklogged's comment!

These pictures were taken last year and inspired the ones that took place two posts earlier. They also inspire some that will show up in the next post or two. Isn't the paper so cute!?

A Winter Lake!

I am taking an online photography class. I thought a perfect place to take some of my shots would be Steinaker Resevoir at sunset. It was completely frozen, and the snow was perfect and undisturbed which is what I had hoped for. It was absolutely beautiful. Hannah and eve made great subjects for backlighting! I love these pictures.

Having Snow Much Fun

The park is the best place to hang out, even in the winter. It was very fun, because we wanted to build a snowman, but the snow had gotten to powdery before we could. When we got to the park, there were already two good sized snowballs there that had been abandoned. We made one tiny snowball and used the carrot we found in one of the bigger snowballs and finished off the snow man. It was such a funny sight.

Deck the Halls

Aren't these kids the cutest! Papa is pretty smokin' himself. OW OW! ha ha! This was such a fun day, I loved watching these kids' eyes light up when they saw all of the cool ornaments. I'm positive they enjoyed helping out with the tree.
